A Torque Converter Retarder Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally used to prevent leakage from or into the joined components while under compression. Gaskets are made using the right combination of material and profile to deliver the performance and application.

Applications:
A Torque Converter Retarder Gasket is positioned between the retainer and the retarder to create a tight seal, preventing the leakage of transmission fluid from the torque converter. This gasket is used to ensure that the internal components of the torque converter are protected from external contaminants and that the fluid flow is controlled as intended.
