A Fuel Pump Camshaft rotates, and the lobes on the camshaft push against the fuel pump's components, creating the necessary mechanical force to deliver fuel. The motion of the lobes results in the reciprocating action of the fuel pump, pressurizing the fuel and enabling its delivery to the engine. This action pressurizes the fuel and allows it to be properly distributed to the engine's fuel injectors or carburetor.
