The Universal Joint Yoke is to transfer rotational power from the torque converter to the main drive shaft while allowing for angular misalignment between the two shafts. It is to accommodate the torque converter output shaft on one end and the main drive shaft on the other, providing a flexible yet robust connection between the two.
