A Fuel Level Sensor measures the amount of fuel contained in the fuel tank. It consists of a float, attached to a guide tube or rod. The float, made of buoyant material, moves vertically along the guide tube as the fuel level changes. The float is connected to a variable resistor or other sensing mechanism that changes its electrical resistance based on the float position.

Applications:
A Fuel Level Sensor provides accurate measurements of the fuel level, allowing for precise fuel monitoring and management. The movement of the float changes the electrical resistance of the sensor. This change in resistance is converted into an electrical signal that corresponds to the fuel level and is transmitted to the fuel level indicator.
