A Detent Stop Retainer Plate is used to prevent the detent stop from coming out or getting lost during the operation, ensuring that it remains securely in its intended position in the governor control assembly. The plate is fitted inside the governor housing which is subjected to vibrations, shocks, or other forces that could cause the detent-stop and its fasteners to come loose or fall out.
Attributes:
• Provided with a slot to allow the oscillating motion of the detent stop
• Withstands the vibrations and forces that are generated during operation
Applications:
A Detent Stop Retainer Plate is used in the governor control unit to hold and secure the detent stop in position to maintain proper function and alignment of the component that controls the governor assembly, ensuring proper function of the governor and fuel pump unit.
