A Spherical Roller Bearing features rows of barrel-shaped rollers housed within an inner ring with a spherical raceway and an outer ring with a common spherical raceway. This unique design allows the bearing to accommodate not only radial loads but also axial loads and angular misalignment between the shaft and housing. The rollers are guided by cages to maintain proper spacing and prevent contact with each other.
