The Transmission Shim helps to adjust spaces, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces or parts. Shims are used to align components ensure proper positioning and reduce vibration or noise. Shims are employed to fine-tune the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances. It ensures precise positioning and reduces wear on components.

Applications:
The Transmission Shim is used between 27 teeth gear and reverse idler gear part of the transmission placed in between the cone and cup bearing and the spacer to achieve the desired fit and is used stacked to achieve the required thickness or alignment.
