The Thermostat Switch Linkage Rod translates the rotational motion of the control knob into linear motion to actuate the thermostat switch. It is connected to the control knob on one end and the thermostat switch on the other end. When the operator turns the control knob, it rotates the linkage rod, exerting a force on the thermostat switch. This force activates or adjusts the thermostat switch, which is responsible for controlling the operation of the air conditioner and heater unit based on the desired temperature settings.
