An Air Intake Throttle controls the engine's power output and fuel efficiency by regulating the airflow. By restricting or opening the throttle, the engine can maintain the ideal air-to-fuel ratio for optimum combustion. The throttle consists of a butterfly valve, which is a flat circular disc positioned within the throttle body. The valve is connected to the accelerator pedal via a linkage system or electronic sensors. When the driver presses the accelerator pedal, the throttle valve opens to allow more air into the engine, resulting in increased power.
