An Air Reservoir Valve is used to prevent the backflow of compressed air from the downstream components into the reservoir. It ensures that the compressed air stored in the reservoir is directed only toward the airline and not allowed to flow back into the reservoir. While the air compressor is running, it fills the air reservoir with compressed air. The check valve closes to isolate the reservoir from the rest of the unit, preventing compressed air from flowing backward into the reservoir.
