A Straight Solid Dowel Pin is a type of fastener that is made from high-strength materials to provide load-bearing capabilities and uniform diameter along its entire length, resulting in a consistent fit within mating parts. It relies on an interference fit. Interference fit is achieved through the difference in diameter between the dowel pin and hole.
Attributes:

• Both the ends are chamfered to an angle of 45 degrees to reduce the risk of snagging in the holes
