A Compression Spring is defined as an elastic element, which deflects (compresses) under the action of the load i.e. the external force tends to shorten the spring, and returns to its original shape when the load is removed. The helical spring is made from a wire of circular cross-section, which is bent in the form of a helix. The external force acts along the axis of the spring and induces torsional shear stress in the spring wire.
Attributes:
• Provided with total coils of 4.08 and active coils of 2.08 that help to maintain their shape and stability
• Capable of absorbing and dampening shocks and vibrations
Applications:
