The Oil Filter Element Base is used to securely hold and position the oil filter within a fuel unit. It serves as a mounting platform for the oil filter element, ensuring that it remains securely attached and in the correct position. It also provides a sealed connection between the oil filter screen and the oil filter element. This prevents any oil leaks and ensures that all the oil flowing through the unit passes through the filter element, allowing it to effectively remove any contaminants or impurities.
