648-5850: Main Deflector Assembly

The Main Deflector Assembly helps to distribute the asphalt mix evenly across the width of the paver. It floats on the asphalt surface, allowing for a uniform layer to be laid down. It is driven by eccentric shafts or hydraulic vibrators. It induces vibrations in the screed plate, enhancing the compaction of the asphalt layer and eliminating voids. Height control systems continuously adjust the screed position to maintain the desired thickness of the asphalt layer, compensating for any irregularities in the underlying surface.
