645-7447: Hydraulic Front Lines Block

A Current Transformer works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, where it transforms high currents into proportional lower currents that can be safely measured and monitored by instruments or control systems. It consists of a primary winding, which is a single or multiple turns of thick conductor encircling the main current-carrying conductor. The secondary winding is made of numerous turns of fine wire, insulated from the primary. The core is made of magnetic material to enhance the magnetic coupling between the primary and secondary windings.
