632-8101: Engine Rubber Mount

Cat® Engine Rubber Mount is used to attach and position, accommodate displacement, and isolate components of engine from the surrounding structure to reduce vibration, shock and noise. Cat® Rubber Mount is used to reduce the vibration and noise transmitted from the engine to the chassis and the operator’s cab. This isolation rubber mount uses rubber as the main material to absorb and dissipate the energy from the engine’s movement. It also helps to keep the engine in place and prevent it from shifting or tilting when the machine is operating on uneven terrain or performing sharp turns. The engine isolation rubber mount is an important part of the machine’s design and performance. It enhances operator comfort and safety. Cat® Rubber Mounts are designed to reduce stress and strain on mounted components to increase their durability and performance life, and to contribute to long run time. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, hardware, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements.
