630-3354: 9 Fins Per Inch Fuel Cooler Core

A Fuel Cooler Core is used to efficiently cool the Fuel that passes through it. It consists of a network of tubes and fins, and to maximize the surface area for heat transfer. When hot Fuel flows through the Core, heat is transferred from the Fuel to the walls of the tubes. The Fins enhance the heat transfer process by increasing the contact area between the Fuel and the tube walls, thus maximizing cooling efficiency. The heat transferred from the Fuel is then dissipated to the ambient Air as it passes over the fins.
