629-9733: C11 Primary Engine Arrangement

REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar  OR  destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.

The Primary Engine Arrangement represents the power generation unit within the equipment, comprising required components like the engine block, cylinders, pistons, crankshaft, and fuel delivery system, this arrangement converts fuel into mechanical energy, providing the required power to operate different hydraulic units, propulsion mechanisms, and auxiliary functions. The primary engine arrangement delivers consistent performance in operational conditions, ensuring efficient power transmission and optimal equipment functionality.

Attributes:
• Power rating A is 353 horsepower at 1800 revolutions per minute.
• Peak torque A is 1045 pound-foot at 1350 revolutions per minute.
• Power rating B is 324 horsepower at 1800 revolutions per minute.
• Peak torque B is 1008 pound-foot at 1350 revolutions per minute.
• Reduces friction and wear for prolonged engine lifespan.
• High idle is 2120 revolutions per minute and low revolutions per minute is 700 revolutions per minute.

Applications:
The Primary Engine Arrangement is centrally located within the equipment to house and organize the engine components compactly and efficiently, ensuring proper alignment and functionality facilitating power generation through combustion, and transmitting it to other mechanical components for different operations.
