Cat® Filter or Strainer in water tank is used to filter out any impurities that may be present in the water. It prevents clogging, corrosion, or damage to the water pump, hoses, valves, and other components of the water system thus improving the water quality and efficiency of the machine. It is located at the inlet of the water tank, where it can catch any dirt or sediment that may come from the water source. A strainer has a mesh screen, a perforated plate, or a wire cloth to trap the particles. A strainer may also have a drain plug or valve to allow easy cleaning and maintenance.
