627-4034: Filter Cover Latch

Cat® Latch is used to lock the door, that encloses the air conditioner filter of the Cat® Machine. It is a part of the cab, that prevents unauthorized access to the inside components of the vehicle. A Latch consists of a metal hook that catches on the filter cover attached to the housing. When the cover is closed, the latch engages with the cover and locks the cover in place. When the cover is opened, the latch is disengaged manually and allows the cover to swing freely. This Cover provides protection to these components, from weather and external particles. They are ergonomically designed to fit precise to the desired location.
