An Engine Radiator consists of a network of tubes and fins through which coolant usually a mixture of water and antifreeze circulates. As the hot coolant flows through the radiator, heat is exchanged with the surrounding air, which is facilitated by the fins attached to the tubes. This process is for preventing the engine from reaching excessive temperatures that could lead to mechanical failures and reduced efficiency.
Attributes:
• Efficiently transfers heat from the coolant to the surrounding air.
• Designed with a sufficient cooling capacity to accommodate the higher heat loads.
• Built with robust materials to withstand the rugged conditions.
Applications:
An Engine Radiator is positioned at the front of the equipment near the engine compartment. It is strategically placed to maximize exposure to incoming air, optimizing the cooling process.
