The Final Drive Control Brake unit is located inside the final drive housing, on the non-gear side. The brake piston applies force to the brake lining when hydraulic pressure is applied, while the brake cylinder converts hydraulic pressure into mechanical force. The brake seal kit prevents leaks and maintains hydraulic pressure, and the brake spring disengages the brake when hydraulic pressure is not applied. The pin connects various components within the brake group, enabling movement and actuation.
