A Differential Bevel Gear is used to allow the wheels to rotate at different speeds while still receiving power from the engine. It achieves this speed difference through a combination of gear ratios and the meshing of the bevel gears. As the drive shaft rotates the ring gear, the pinion gears mesh with the ring gear and rotate in the opposite direction. The pinion gears are connected to the output shafts, which drive the wheels.

Applications:
A Differential Bevel Gear distributes torque, enables speed differentiation, and provides smooth power transmission, allowing them to rotate at different speeds, it is responsible for transferring power from the driveshaft to the differential, and subsequently to the wheels.
