609-2397: 50mm Inner Diameter Piston Rod Scraper

The Piston Rod Scraper is placed close to the gland or seal housing of the hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder. This location ensures that they effectively remove contaminants from the piston rod as it retracts into the cylinder. The inside of the scraper often has a lip or sealing element that maintains contact with the piston rod surface. As the piston rod moves in and out of the cylinder, the piston rod scraper flexes and adapts to maintain contact with the rod's surface.
