606-7585: Hydraulic Cylinder

The Hydraulic Cylinder translates hydraulic pressure into a pushing or pulling force in a straight line. It consists of a cylindrical barrel or tube, a piston, a piston rod, and seals. The barrel is closed at one end and has an opening at the other end where the piston rod extends. The piston is fitted inside the barrel and divides it into two chambers, the rod side and the cap side. The piston rod is connected to the piston and extends through a sealed opening in the cylinder barrel.
