606-2457: 4 Pin Tilt Cylinder Linear Position Sensor

A Tilt Cylinder Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor utilizes the principle of magnetostriction to accurately detect and measure the position of the cylinder. It detects the magnetic field variations caused by the mechanical strain and converts them into an electrical signal. This electrical signal is then processed and used to determine the precise position of the tilt cylinder.

Attributes:
• Features a 4-pin configuration of the sensor that allows for quadrature encoding, which increases the resolution of position measurement
• Suitable to be used with an unregulated supply voltage of 7 - 11VDC

Applications:
A Tilt Cylinder Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor monitors the linear movement or position of the tilt cylinder for the blade and the electrical signal generated by the sensor is then transmitted to the hydraulic control unit through a wiring harness which uses this signal to accurately determine the cylinder's position.
