A Lift Cylinder is designed to provide controlled vertical movement and lifting capability, allowing for the lifting or lowering of heavy loads. It consists of a cylindrical body, piston, piston rod, seals, Cylinder Head, and cap. When hydraulic fluid is pressurized and directed into the Cylinder, it applies force on the piston that pushes the piston and extends a connected rod. This force is then transmitted through the rod, enabling the Cylinder to lift or support the load.
Attributes:
• Allows for variable force generation based on the Hydraulic pressure applied
• Withstands high pressures, vibrations, and forces generated during the operation
Applications:
A Lift Cylinder is used to convert Hydraulic energy into mechanical force and motion, allowing for the lifting, lowering, or supporting of heavy loads.
