602-0475: Thermal Insulation

Cat® Insulation are intended primarily for heat resistant covering for use in engine compartment of Cat® machines. May also be used for cushioning, sound absorption, vibration isolation, and thermal insulation. Generally used where a barrier layer is not needed. These thermal insulation and acoustical foam pieces are integrated into the design of Cat® heavy duty equipment to block and absorb heat. It has a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) pre-applied on special release liners designed for quick and easy application of a neat, precise strip of dry adhesive. Cat® service parts offer simple repair and replacement of system components in Cat® Machines.
