The Fuel Transfer Pump Retainer Compression Spring uses a machined retainer that has no seals. The retainer is at the top dead center when the injection to the cylinder is finished. It is then returned on its downward stroke by a compression spring. It is used to resist compression when a force is applied axially along its length and provides a reliable and consistent force between the retainer and the pump housing.
Attributes:
• Provided a spring rate of 22.9 lb/in to store and release mechanical energy
• Provided with Square Ends because they provide a secure and stable for the spring to sit on a device or an assembly and Ground with 270 degrees
• Provided with total coils of 3 and active coils of 1 as a helical coil that helps to maintain their shape and stability
Applications:
The Fuel Transfer Pump Retainer Compression Spring is used to return to its downward stroke as the retainer moves, the compressed spring releases its potential energy, enabling the transfer of fuel from the source to the destination with adequate pressure and flow rate. The spring also helps maintain the overall stability and balance of the fuel transfer system.
