A Drive Shaft Lip Type Seal is used to provide a reliable and effective seal between a rotating shaft and its housing. It prevents the leakage of fluids, such as oil or grease, and the ingress of contaminants, such as dirt and moisture, into the system. The outer metal case provides structural support and rigidity to the seal. The flexible lip, made of rubber makes the sealing contact with the shaft. It provides the primary sealing function by maintaining contact with the rotating shaft surface. A spring, located behind the lip, provides radial tension or preload, ensuring the lip maintains contact with the shaft and compensating for any wear or variations in the shaft surface.

Applications:
