The Steering Pressure Relief Valve Compression Spring is a mechanical spring that is used to resist compression when a force is applied axially along its length. It provides a reliable and consistent force between the control valve and the plug. These springs are used to compress under load, providing a constant force that keeps the valve closed until the pressure in the system reaches a predetermined level.
Attributes:
• Provided a spring rate of 841 lb/in to store and release mechanical energy
• Provided with Square Ends because they provide a secure and stable for the spring to sit on a device or an assembly and Ground with 270°
• Provided with total coils of 8 and active coils of 6 as a helical coil that helps to maintain their shape and stability
Applications:
The Steering Pressure Relief Valve Compression Spring is used to regulate the hydraulic pressure within the steering mechanism. When the pressure exceeds the preset limit, the compression spring functions to modulate the valve's opening, allowing the excess fluid to bypass, thus preventing over-pressurization and potential damage to the system.
