A Cover Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally used to prevent leakage from or into the joined components while under compression. Gaskets are made using the right combination of material and profile to deliver the performance and application. This gasket helps to maintain the integrity of the fuel pump and governor assembly and prevents fuel leaks.
Attributes:
• Helps to maintain temperature difference and prevent heat transfer between parts
• Ensures that there is no contamination or cross-contamination between fluids
Applications:
A Cover Gasket is positioned between the housing cover and the main body of the fuel pump and governor to create a tight seal, preventing the leakage of fuel and ensuring the proper functioning of the fuel delivery unit.
