The Washer is used to distribute a load of a fastener, such as a bolt, a nut, or other component over a wider area, thereby reducing the pressure on the surface being fastened and preventing damage to it. It helps to adjust spaces, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces or parts. It is made of steel material.
