A Radiator Core is to facilitate the transfer of heat from the Engine coolant to the surrounding air, thereby cooling the coolant and maintaining the Engine at an optimal operating temperature. It consists of a series of small tubes or channels through which coolant flows, surrounded by a network of thin, flat Fins. When the coolant enters the Radiator Core inlet header, it passes through the narrow tubes, heat is transferred from the coolant to the tube walls due to their close contact. The large surface area provided by the Fins allows for enhanced heat dissipation, facilitating the transfer of heat from the tubes to the surrounding air.
Attributes:
• Prevent overheating and reduce the risk of failures due to thermal stress
• Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability and reliability
Applications:
A Radiator Core serves as a heat exchanger, dissipating excess heat generated by the Engine during operation.
