Cat® Solenoid valves are electromechanical devices designed to open or close the valve used in fluid systems of Cat® Heavy-duty equipment. Cat® Solenoid Valves has a specially engineered electromagnet in which a coil of wire is wrapped around a specially shaped core made of steel or iron. Cat® Solenoids provide reliable performance which enables them to operate in heavy-duty applications such as severe vibration and shock, extreme operating temperatures, thermal cycle, thermal shock, humidity, corrosion, and excessive dust.
