It is subjected to significant wear and abrasion during operation due to continuous contact with the ground and various materials.

• Helps protect the attachment, such as the bulldozer blade or grader blade, from direct wear and damage
• Improve traction and stability during earthmoving operations
• Provided with a Rockwell hardness minimum of C42 and Brinell hardness of 2.7 - 3.0 to provide strength and rigidity
