A Planetary Gear Carrier operates based on the principles of gear reduction and torque multiplication. As the input shaft rotates the sun gear, the planetary gears rotate on their axes and revolve around the carrier. The planetary gear carrier consists of a central hub or carrier that houses multiple planetary gears. These gears are arranged in a circular pattern around the carrier and mesh with a sun gear located at the center and an outer ring gear. The sun gear is connected to the input shaft, while the ring gear is connected to the output shaft.
