Cat® Cab Top Window is used to provide protection and visibility for the operator. Cat® Windows protects the machine operator from weather conditions and provides excellent visibility with minimal optical deviation. It is used to shield the operator from wind, dust, dirt, insects, and other elements while traveling. The windows provide perfect sealing when either heating or cooling of the interior of a cab is desired. Cat® Windows also allows the operator to see around the machine and avoid potential hazards and obstacles. Appears as light green tinted glass to reduce the amount of solar heat transmitted. It's readable from the exterior and has black ceramic frit on the sides to provide grip. This window also serves as a source of light and ventilation for the operator. Conforms to Federal and International Standards for automotive safety glazing materials. Cat® Windows reduce wind noise and increase the structural rigidity of the machine, improving overall safety.
