583-6945: Primary Engine Arrangement

REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar  OR  destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.

A Bottom Guard Sheet is placed between the upper frame of the machine and its cabin. It serves to reinforce the structural integrity of the cabin and support other machine parts mounted on the upper frame. The guard sheet is used to absorb and distribute stress and impacts, thereby protecting machine components and maintaining machine stability.

Applications:
A Bottom Guard Sheet is positioned between the upper frame and the machine cabin or other parts mounted on the upper frame of the machine, serving as a structural interface and providing protection against damage from external elements.
