582-4972: 5 Pin Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor

A Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor utilizes the principle of magnetostriction to accurately detect and measure the position of the cylinder. It detects the magnetic field variations caused by the mechanical strain and converts them into an electrical signal. This electrical signal is then processed and used to determine the precise position of the side-shift cylinder.

• Handle rod pressure rating of 35MPa for continuous and 53MPa in peak condition

Applications:
A Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor monitors the linear movement or position of the side-shift cylinder for the blade and the electrical signal generated by the sensor is then transmitted to the hydraulic control unit through a wiring harness which uses this signal to accurately determine the position of the side-shift cylinder.
