The Cooling Radiator Cap is designed to regulate the pressure within the equipment's cooling system. As the engine heats up during operation, the coolant expands and creates pressure within the radiator and coolant hoses. The radiator cap maintains this pressure within the desired range. By maintaining the correct pressure, the cap raises the boiling point of the coolant, preventing it from boiling over and allowing the engine to operate at optimal temperatures.
