576-0317: Pressure Relief Valve

A Pressure Relief Valve is a pressure protection component integrated within the Extendable Stick hydraulic control valve. It features a spring-loaded poppet or spool mechanism that remains closed during normal operation. When pressure within the valve surpasses a preset threshold, the spring compresses, and the poppet or spool lifts from its seat, allowing excess fluid to bypass the valve and return to the reservoir. This prevents pressure buildup from exceeding safe limits and potentially damaging the valve components.
