562-0751: Hydraulic Gear Pump

A Gear Pump is responsible for supplying a continuous flow of hydraulic fluid to the piston pump, which in turn generates the high-pressure fluid required to drive the compactor's vibratory system. The gear pump operates by using a set of interlocking gears to trap and transport hydraulic fluid from the reservoir to the piston pump. As the gears rotate, they create a vacuum that draws in the fluid and then pushes it through the unit at a constant rate.
