A Trailing Edge Screed Heater heats and maintains the temperature of the screed plate on an asphalt paver. The screed plate is the component responsible for leveling and compacting the asphalt during the paving process. The Trailing Edge Screed Heater is located at the rear of the screed and is used to provide consistent heat to the screed plate.
