551-6814: Square Seal Ring

Description:
The Square Seal Ring is installed in a groove in the pump housing, where it forms a seal against the outer surface of the pump gear. The ring has a square cross-section, with two flat sides and two curved sides. The flat sides of the ring make contact with the housing groove, while the curved sides make contact with the gear teeth. This creates a seal that prevents fluid from leaking out of the pump.
