Description:
A Compression spring come in a variety of strengths and sizes to fit specific applications. Compression springs are helical-designed springs for compression and tension whereby the spring gets compressed (shorter) as more weight is applied. One of the biggest benefits of compression springs is the ability to resist the movement of another component. This feature makes a very tiny compression spring integral in the internal construction and function of the gauge.
