551-0838: Engine Valve Cover

The Engine Valve Cover is placed at the top of the cylinder head to envelop and protect the valve mechanisms, ensuring they remain uncontaminated and shielded from external hazards. It is provided with a hole for the breather cap that allows for the release of built-up pressure and the expulsion of gases from the engine crankcase. The primary function of a valve cover is to enclose the top portion of the cylinder head and seal the valve mechanism. It protects the valves, valve springs, and other associated parts from contaminants ensuring their smooth operation.
