550-4634: 363 Kilowatt Primary Engine Arrangement

REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar  OR  destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.

The Primary Engine Arrangement integrates different subsystems, including front and rear structures, cooling, lube, intake, exhaust systems, fuel, electrical systems, and miscellaneous components. It houses a potent 15.2-liter engine delivering 363kW of power, providing propulsion and driving auxiliary systems. The front and rear structures support and encase the engine, while cooling, lube, intake, and exhaust systems ensure optimal engine performance. Additionally, the fuel system supplies fuel, and the electrical system facilitates starting and operation, collectively serving as the equipment's powerhouse for reliable performance
