The Piston Pump Barrel is a cylindrical housing with several bores radially drilled around its inner circumference. Each bore accommodates a piston connected to a swashplate or yoke mechanism. As the drive shaft rotates, the swashplate tilts the pistons, causing them to extend and retract within their respective bores. This reciprocating motion creates suction and discharge ports in the barrel, drawing in fluid and then pushing it out at high pressure.
