The Fan Drive Belt transfers power from the engine's crankshaft to the cooling fan, ensuring that the fan operates at the necessary speed to regulate the engine's temperature. The ribs on the inside of the belt mesh with the grooves on the pulleys, creating friction that drives the cooling fan. This rotational energy powers the alternator to generate electricity, the power steering pump to assist in steering, the air conditioning compressor to cool the cabin

Applications:
